It lets you view all the information on the network adaptors and machines connected to a LAN.

MacAddr (also known as Mac Addr) is a utility to be run in MSDOS or from the Windows command line, and whose function is to view information on the network adaptors.

Depending on the different parameters you give to the MacAddr command you can get the following results: the time and date, the machine name, the username, the IP address of the machine, the description of the network adaptor, properties, etc.

It is interesting that, as it can be run from the command line, you can program various of these actions from certain programs. MacAddr is also completely free.
